Our story
Jarrier, France
2018
We are the owners of the Chalet La Tuvière Bike Inn since July 2018. We’ve carried out a certain number of renovations in order to improve the quality of our service and the comfort of our guests. The major part of the changes were carried out during the spring 2019 when the bedrooms were completely transformed, the bar and the restaurant were also improved and a new kitchen was created. During 2020 a new mezzanine was built above the restaurant with a TV lounge and library, a new decking was added around the sauna and hot tub resulting in a well being area . During the second lockdown the reception has been completely redecorated and plenty of other changes have been made to help social distancing while maintaining the cosiness and conviviality of the chalet. We hope you will visit soon and make the most of all these improvements in the unique setting of the Maurienne valley
Accommodation and your stay with us
From 21st June 2019 we are changing our concept. Our rooms can accommodate from 2 to 6 people and all have a shower and WC. We propose half board (accommodation, dinner, breakfast, sheets and towels).

Jane & Fabrice
Of English origin, I fell in love with the Savoie 25 years ago and have never looked back. I love cooking hearty and tasty dishes with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. I’m also available to give advice on a walk, the weather or the local life.
When they are here, my boys can also give suggestions for winter or summer sport excursions, Tommy for climbing and Ben for mountain walking or trail running. Both born in the Maurienne, they love these mountains and the whole valley.
Fabrice took a while before choosing which part of the Alps he wanted to call ‘’home’’. The Savoie, with its diverse landscapes and activities motivated him to unpack his bags here. He has worked in mountain tourism and as a mountain equipment advisor and now has his own business as a builder. He is always ready to swap his tools for a ski tour or a bike ride, however. If you have a technical problem during your stay, he’s your man.
