Welcome to the La Tuvière chalet ! We are new owners in a magnificent setting and we’re in the process of adapting the chalet to make your stay comfortable in the calm, Savoyard pastures.

Summer and Autumn

Our chalet is simply perfect for cyclists whatever their level. There are small circuits around the local villages or the more demanding mythical cols of the ‘Tour de France’ to discover. We are also perfectly situated for mountain biking and hiking. For trail runners there is a vertical kilometre course right near the chalet and two orientation courses. Climbers will find two crags a few kilometres away with routes of all levels and a via ferrata. A varied flora and the fauna is right on the doorstep for nature lovers. There is also a rich local culture in this remarkable landscape.

Winter

The Chalet is 5km from the nearest ski lift and 10km from the centre of La Toussuire ski resort. There is a ski touring route right in front of our door and some well indicated snow shoe circuits. For cross country skiers there are some trails in La Toussuire or in the resort 20 km away, ‘Le Grand Coin’. Our south facing terrace is ideal for relaxation for those who need a rest and a drink at any time of the day.
The La Tuvière chalet is composed of different sized rooms for  2 to 6 people in each with a maximum  capacity of  20 places. It’s a great place for a self -catering group with fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room, a big balcony, two bathrooms and a spacious area outside to relax. The garage and workshop make it ideal for cyclists, motorcyclists and skiers.
